FMC provides a portfolio of products to protect your potato crop and enhance yield quality.
Easy-to-handle Aim ® EC herbicide provides a better alternative for potato vine desiccation and late season control of Eastern Black Nightshade. Its unique mode of action allows more time for nutrients to move into the tuber, and for the tuber to release from the stolon. This extra time provides more uniform tuber size at harvest and reduces stem-end browning, which can occur if vines are killed too quickly.
Ranman® fungicide, with its unique mode of action, provides highly effective prevention of pink rot when applied in-furrow at planting, including mefenoxam-resistant pink rot. Unlike most fungicides that only control some stages of the life cycle of oomycete pathogens, Ranman is active in all stages and is the only fungicide in FRAC Group 21. Plus, Ranman is effective with late foliar applications for late blight and tuber blight.
Beleaf™ insecticide, a new class of chemistry with a new mode of action – A-Type Potassium Channel Active, provides effective, targeted control of aphids and plant bugs. Within 30 minutes of exposure, pests begin to lose the ability to feed, which is irreversible, and they eventually starve to death. The rapid reduction in feeding dramatically reduces insect damage and disease transmission. Soft on beneficial insects and predator mites with no known cross-resistance with other insecticides, Beleaf is a valuable new component in IRM and IPM programs.
Furadan® insecticide-nematicide provides proven protection against your crop-threatening pests. And that's no small potatoes. Consider Furadan 4F to control Colorado potato beetle, flea beetle, leafhopper and other potato pests. Furadan 4F not only provides superior control and application flexibility, it's proven to improve yield and crop quality.
Mustang Max® insecticide employs the newest improvements in pyrethroid technology, using active insecticidal isomers within the chemical to significantly enhance performance on root and tuber vegetables including potatoes. You’ll see exceptional protection with residual control of aphids, potato leafhopper and many other insect pests. Mustang Max is approved for foliar application and may be applied by either ground or air equipment. And because it tank mixes readily with postemergence herbicides, plant nutrients and fungicides, potato growers have a flexible insect control tool that does not require an additional pass through the field.
Always apply at labeled rates.
